This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile game “Smile Now: Jigsaw Puzzle Game” (“the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), published by Aleksander Łamek.

1. Overview
Smile Now: Jigsaw Puzzle Game is a jigsaw puzzle game that lets users play built-in puzzles, animated puzzles, download or share completed puzzle images, and create puzzles from their own photos.
We respect user privacy. The App does not require users to create an account and does not ask users to provide their name, email address, phone number, precise location, payment information, or contacts.
2. Information We Collect
The App may process the following types of information:
2.1 App usage and analytics data
We use Huawei Analytics Kit to understand how users interact with the App and to improve the game.
This may include information such as:
– app opens;
– category opened;
– puzzle selected;
– difficulty selected;
– puzzle started;
– puzzle completed;
– hint used;
– preview opened;
– share or download button clicked;
– animated puzzle completed;
– approximate app usage time;
– general device and app information, such as device type, operating system version, app version, language, and general diagnostic or analytics identifiers used by Huawei Analytics Kit.
We do not use Huawei Analytics Kit to collect the user’s name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, or the content of the user’s personal photos.
2.2 Age range selection
At first launch, the App asks the user to select an age range:
– under 13;
– 13-17;
– 18 and over.
This information is used to help configure age-appropriate app behavior and age-appropriate advertising settings. The App does not ask for the user’s exact date of birth.
2.3 User photos
The App allows users to:
– upload photos from their device;
– take a photo using the device camera;
– use those photos as puzzle images.
Photos selected or taken by the user are stored locally on the user’s device for use inside the App. We do not upload these photos to our servers.
Users can delete photos added to the “My Photos” category from within the App.
2.4 Shared or downloaded images
When a user chooses to share or download a completed puzzle image, the App creates an image file with the “Smile Now: Jigsaw Puzzle Game” watermark.
If the user chooses to share the image, the image is passed to the app selected by the user, such as an email app, messaging app, or social media app. The selected third-party app may process the image according to its own privacy policy.
2.5 Internet connection
The App can be used without an Internet connection. However, some features require Internet access, including advertisements, rewarded ads, app update checks, and analytics services. If the device is offline, these online features may be unavailable, but the core puzzle gameplay may still be used.
3. Permissions Used by the App
The App may request or use the following permissions or system features:
– Internet access: used for Huawei Analytics Kit, Huawei Ads Kit, advertising, and to check whether an Internet connection is available. Network state or Wi-Fi state access: used to determine whether online features such as ads and analytics can be used. Advertising identifier or similar device/app identifiers: may be used by Huawei Ads Kit and Huawei Analytics Kit for advertising, analytics, measurement, fraud prevention, and service operation, depending on device settings, user age range, country, and applicable law.
– Camera: used only when the user chooses “Take photo”.
– Photo/media/file access or Android photo picker: used only when the user chooses to upload a photo or save/download an image.
– Sharing features: used only when the user chooses to share a completed puzzle image.
4. How We Use Information
We use information for the following purposes:
– to provide and operate the game;
– to save local game progress on the user’s device;
– to show puzzle categories and puzzle progress;
– to allow users to create puzzles from their own photos;
– to allow users to download or share completed puzzle images;
– to understand which puzzles and features are used most often;
– to improve gameplay, design, performance, and stability;
– to apply age-appropriate settings;
– to show and manage advertising;
– to provide rewarded ads that can grant additional in-game hints;
– to comply with legal, security, and AppGallery policy requirements.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal or sensitive user data.
We may share or make data available in the following limited situations:
5.1 Service providers
We use Huawei Analytics Kit, provided by Huawei, to process analytics data on our behalf.
We use Huawei Analytics Kit, provided by Huawei, to show advertisements in the App.
Huawei may process analytics and advertising data according to its own terms and privacy documentation.
5.2 User-initiated sharing
If the user chooses to share a completed puzzle image, the image is sent to the third-party app selected by the user. This happens only after the user actively chooses the sharing option.
5.3 Legal requirements
We may disclose information if required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
6. Advertising
The App uses Huawei Ads Kit to show advertisements.
Advertising may include banner ads, full-screen ads, and rewarded ads. Rewarded ads may allow users to receive additional in-game hints.
The App uses the selected age range to help configure age-appropriate advertising treatment. For users who select “under 13”, the App applies child-directed or age-appropriate advertising settings where required.
Huawei Ads Kit may process information such as device information, advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from network information or IP address, app interactions, ad views, ad clicks, ad performance data, diagnostic information, and fraud-prevention data, depending on the user’s age range, country, device settings, Huawei services settings, and applicable law.
7. Children’s Privacy
The App includes an age range screen to help apply age-appropriate settings.
The App does not knowingly ask children to provide their name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, or payment information.
If the App is used by children, we handle data in accordance with applicable children’s privacy laws and AppGallery policies. Parents or guardians may contact us at games@aleksanderlamek.pl with privacy questions or deletion requests.
8. Local Data Storage
The App stores certain information locally on the user’s device, including:
– puzzle progress;
– completed puzzle status;
– selected age range;
– user-added photos;
– local game settings.
This local data is stored on the user’s device. Users can delete user-added photos inside the App. Users can also remove local App data by uninstalling the App or clearing the App’s data in Android settings.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
Local game data remains on the user’s device until the user deletes it, clears App data, or uninstalls the App.
User-added photos remain on the device until the user deletes them from the App, clears App data, or uninstalls the App.
Analytics and advertising data is retained according to Huawei Analytics Kit, Huawei Ads Kit, and Huawei’s applicable retention practices. Users may contact us at games@aleksanderlamek.pl to request deletion of data associated with them, where we are able to identify and delete such data.
Because the App does not require user accounts, we may not always be able to identify individual analytics or advertising records without additional information.
10. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect user data. User photos are stored locally on the device. Data transmitted to Huawei services is transmitted using secure network connections where supported by those services.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
11. International Data Transfers
Huawei Analytics Kit and Huawei Ads Kit may process data on servers located in different countries. By using the App, users understand that data may be processed outside their country of residence, subject to applicable privacy and data protection requirements.

If the user chooses to share an image through another app, that third-party app is responsible for its own privacy practices.
13. No User Accounts
The App does not currently allow users to create an account. Therefore, there is no in-app account deletion process. Users can delete local App data by clearing App data or uninstalling the App.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide notice in the App or through the AppGallery listing.
